Once again our schools will compete to see who can recruit the most participants. The winning school will earn the district’s portion and put that money toward its chosen goal. Tharrington Primary’s goal is an updated playground, Jones intermediate is working toward special projects, MAMS is dreaming of field trips and experiential learning for students, while Mount Airy High School wishes for additional outdoor seating for lunch and learning space for classes. Register online and select the school you would like to support in its goal. You can also recruit family, friends, and co-workers to sign up to walk or run. Schools will be sending home flyers soon with more information.
