Thank you for choosing Mount Airy City Schools (MACS) for your child’s educational journey! MACS is proud to offer four campuses that employee over 200 individuals who strive to meet the needs of every child, every day.

Research shows there are multiple factors that impact student success. In addition to parents and teachers, student health and safety are crucial components. This handbook was created to be a resource for families to references throughout the year.

In these handbooks, you will find summaries of important policies and procedures for MACS and individual schools. Please understand these are not comprehensive lists of policies and is not to be used as a substitute for our policies. Full copies of all policies can be found on our website and can be found at Central Office located at 351 Riverside Drive.

Students and families are advised to review the full policies found online, which include key information such as student rights and responsibilities. As always, please contact your school’s administration should you have questions about a policy.
