Troubleshooting for Student iPad at Home
iPad - Can't Access Canvas App, Web Traffic, Etc. at HOME
1. Connect to home wifi
2. Open Zscaler app
3. Allow time for it to load (you'll see the word "connecting") then it will be connected and it might say "on"
4. They can then browse freely and safely
This is when they should be able to open Canvas without issue as well as search on Google and use other internet based apps.
If you can browse the internet, but still are unable to get on the Canvas App do the following:

Go to Settings, Canvas App, and Turn on "Reset Cache On Next Launch"

Clear out all tabs

Sign back in with your school email and password
In Canvas, the observer role is for parents and guardians who wish to monitor student activity, due dates, and assignments. Observers are also able to see announcements and send messages to their child's teacher.
