Talk Saves Lives

A Brief Introduction to Suicide Prevention

Suicide can be prevented. This presentation will cover what we know about this leading cause of death, the most up-to-date research on prevention, and what we can all do to fight suicide.
Participants will learn the common risk factors for suicide, how to spot the warning signs in others, and how to keep ourselves, our loved ones and those in our community safe.

We will have two meetings.

Saturday, May 4 is open to the public and being held at 351 Riverside Drive in our Board of Education room. This Talk Saves Lives is being presented for our community.

Sunday, May 5 is also open to the public but aimed to support clergy and congregations. Talk Saves Lives: What Faith Communities Need to Understand about Suicide and What Works to Prevent It. This will be held at Central United Methodist Church in their Fellowship Hall. 1909 North Main Street
