How many years have you been in education? I have been teaching for nineteen years.
Tell us about your family. I have been married for 18 years to my wonderful husband, John Hollingsworth. We are natives of Mount Airy and both graduated from Mount Airy High School. We have a 14 year old daughter, Kylie who is in the 8th grade at Mount Airy Middle School and a 7 year old miniature schnauzer named Scout. We enjoy family trips to do all things Disney and the beach. We also travel with our daughter for basketball and volleyball clubs. Most of the time you will find our family somewhere in a gym.
What is your favorite part of the year and why? I love the fall. I love the start of a new school year, attending fall food festivals, watching football and volleyball games, and traveling.
