Daniels and Eaton Band Signing

On Friday, May 2, two Mount Airy High School senior band members signed to continue their musical careers at the collegiate level. Philip Daniels will be continuing his career at the Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University while Hunter Eaton will be performing with the Virginia Tech Marching Virginians.

Beginning Monday, June 10 summer hours for Central Office and each school will be 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday. Summer hours will end Friday, July 26.

Mount Airy City Schools School Nutrition Program will be offering FREE Meals this summer in Mount Airy High School's cafeteria at 1011 N. South Street. This will run Monday-Friday, June 17-July 26.

3 MAHS Educators Selected to be Fellows

Three Mount Airy High School mathematics teachers have been selected to participate in the North Carolina High School Mathematics Master Teacher Fellows Program. Mr. Bryan Hayes, Mrs. Courtney Howlett, and Mr. Cody Spicer will be starting the extensive five-year program this summer.
