What We Support
The raising, allocation, and stewardship of funds to:
- Provide additional financial support for public education in Mount Airy
- Enhance the Board of Education's ability to fund projects that promote excellence in teaching and learning
The Educational Committee of the Mount Airy City Schools Foundation focuses its support of the arts, dual language immersion, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs throughout the district. The committee will make recommendations based on district-wide needs, critical needs, innovative/creative ideas, and scholarships.

Donations - Ongoing
- Individuals may choose to make academic donations at any time by bringing checks made out to the Mount Airy City Schools Foundation, with academics written in the memo line, to 351 Riverside Drive Mount Airy, NC 27030.
Scholarships
The Foundation sponsors five $2,000 scholarships in addition to several privately-funded and memorial scholarships for students graduating from Mount Airy High School. If you are interested in establishing a scholarship through the foundation please contact our Executive Director.
Teacher Grants
The Foundation sponsors approximately $25,000 annually toward grants that promote excellence in teaching and learning.
