Advanced Teaching Roles Grant
Mount Airy City Schools kicked off the first year of the advanced teaching roles grant, which will be known as the PIVOT project for the 2022-2023 school year. We are currently working in our second year of the grant, which has allowed our public school unit to develop capacity within for the consistent growth of all stakeholders. This three-year grant will allow the district to empower highly-qualified teachers as leaders, which will continue to support our students and other educators within the field. We are grateful for the opportunity that we have been given to positively impact both students and educators while building capacity within our own district.
